Vending Machine Operator

Giza, Egypt

Ensure the proper stocking and operation of vending machines while selecting and adjusting products based on the specific needs and preferences of each location. The role contributes directly to maximizing sales, minimizing waste, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Refilling & Operations

  • Refill vending machines according to the scheduled plan.
  • Check product quality, expiration dates, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Monitor machine functionality and report any breakdowns or maintenance needs.

2. Product Selection by Location

  • Analyze customer needs in each location (schools, universities, hospitals, offices, etc.).
  • Select the most suitable product mix based on demand and sales patterns.
  • Coordinate with sales/marketing teams to introduce new products or promotions.

3. Inventory Management

  • Track stock levels across machines and warehouses.
  • Report on product consumption, fast movers, and slow movers.
  • Reduce waste by rotating products according to expiry dates.

4. Sales & Customer Service

  • Monitor daily/weekly sales performance of each machine.
  • Suggest improvements to increase revenue (product variety, promotions, pricing).
  • Collect and report customer feedback to management.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance per location.
  • Identify consumer behavior trends by area.
  • Recommend machine relocation or product changes when needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or Logistics preferred).
  • Previous experience in vending operations, merchandising, or sales is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in the field and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication and commercial awareness.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
