Job Title: Vendor Coordinator – Footwear Industry

Location: Pitampura, Delhi

Reporting To: Supply Chain Manager / Production Head

Job Summary:

The Vendor Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating with vendors and suppliers in the footwear industry. The role involves ensuring timely sourcing, quality checks, price negotiations, order follow-ups, and maintaining smooth communication between vendors and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers for raw materials, components, and packaging.
  • Negotiate terms, prices, timelines, and quality standards with vendors.
  • Ensure timely placement of purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
  • Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with the design, production, and quality teams for sampling, approvals, and bulk orders.
  • Resolve supply chain issues, delays, or quality discrepancies with vendors.
  • Maintain updated records of vendor contracts, agreements, and performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing, and industry standards.
  • Assist in cost optimization and inventory control through effective vendor management.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, procurement, and vendor management in the footwear industry.
  • Good understanding of raw materials such as leather, synthetics, fabrics, soles, adhesives, etc.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and vendor management tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Footwear Technology or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in vendor coordination, preferably in the footwear or apparel industry.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations and supply chain coordination.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
