Job Description: Vendor Manager

The Vendor Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our inventory. Beyond vendor management, you will be the "brain" behind our stock levels using sales data to forecast future demand, planning procurement cycles, and ensuring capital is invested in the right products at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning

• Analyze historical sales data and seasonal trends to predict future stock requirements.
• Develop "Safety Stock" levels and "Reorder Points" for every SKU to prevent stock-outs.
• Lead the Procurement Calendar: Planning exactly when to order and how much to order based on vendor lead times and sales velocity.

2. Strategic Procurement & Negotiation

• Maintain relationships with beauty brands and negotiate optimal pricing and credit terms.
• Manage the "Open-to-Buy" (OTB) budget, ensuring we don't overspend on low-velocity items.

3. PO Management & Quality Control

• Issue accurate Purchase Orders (POs) and track logistics until the stock is live.
• Supervise the "Inwarding" process to verify quantity, quality, and authenticity.
• Manage the Expiry Tracker for all incoming skincare and cosmetics.

4. Data-Driven Liquidation Journey

• Identify "At-Risk" stock (items nearing expiry or slow-moving).
• Plan liquidation strategies (promotional bundles, clearance pricing) to recover cash quickly.

5. Barcode & SKU Management (New)

• System Accuracy: Take full ownership of the Barcoding process for all new and existing arrivals.
• Labeling Coordination: Ensure every single unit has a scannable, accurate barcode before it hits the shelf.
• Database Updates: Update and troubleshoot existing barcodes/SKUs in the system to prevent scanning errors during dispatch.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Analytical Prowess: Ability to turn raw sales numbers into a procurement plan.
• Excel/Google Sheets Mastery: Must be comfortable with Pivot Tables, Forecasting functions, and inventory formulas.
• Proactive Planning: A mindset that focuses on 30-60-90 day stock availability.
• Experience: 3+ years in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, or E-commerce Operations.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Timings: 10 am to 7 pm
Location: MACHS, Karachi

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
