DESCRIPTION

Amazon Home Textile team is looking for a team-oriented, highly analytical and passionate business leader to join the team. The Vendor Manager will interface directly with manufacturers and brands to build scaled relationships and business opportunities. The Vendor Manager will be responsible for developing and managing a dynamic business. Within this role, the individual will set a business strategy, establish and maintain strong vendor relationships and manage a P&L. In addition, this position is expected to focus on setting strategies for category selection expansion from new brand lead identification, pitch to post onboarding scaling.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of with Excel experience
• 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
• Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
• Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
• Experience working in, or a strong passion for, the business of sports
• Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
• Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
