PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Vendor Relations Analyst I assists in managing and analyzing technology contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and optimizing vendor relationships. This position involves collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to support contract negotiations, financial analysis, and compliance monitoring. The Vendor Relations Analyst I contributes to process improvements and provides internal support for vendor-related inquiries and technology solutions.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Review and negotiate contract documents with vendors to ensure complies with USF standards and State statutes for the delivery of the best outcome for USF.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance of contracts, ensuring clear communication with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Analyze technology contracts ensuring optimal usage and compliance with established standards.
  • Assist with implementing process improvement solutions related to vendor management.
  • Establish financial models and review cost models.
  • Review and develop financial data and cost analysis for technology contracts.
  • Analyze the budgetary impact of technology contracts.
  • Reviews and processes financial transactions and assists with vendor inquiries.
  • Works directly with customers to review contract information.
  • Coordinates with USF Legal and Purchasing Departments.
  • Provides internal support when questions and issues arise related to IT vendor products or services.
  • Processes software requests and develops electronic software packages for distribution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree and 0-2 years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
