Venue Technology Manager

📌 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

We are seeking an experienced Venue Technology Manager to lead our day-to-day technology operations within world-class sports venues. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of technology services, with a special focus on preparing for and executing major international sporting events. You will coordinate complex installations, manage the ongoing maintenance of ICT and AV/ELV systems, and provide real-time technical support during live events. This position involves extensive collaboration with stadium authorities, event organizers, and security teams to ensure all technical requirements are met. Your expertise will be crucial in planning for venue readiness, troubleshooting critical issues, and guaranteeing a seamless technology experience for all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, acting as the primary point of contact for all venue technology matters.

🎯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

▸ 8+ years of work experience in IT, with a minimum of 6 years in a similar venue technology management role.

▸ Mandatory bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.

▸ Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

▸ Proven experience in the implementation, maintenance, and support of ICT and AV/ELV systems within sports venues or for large-scale events.

▸ Hands-on expertise with a broad range of AV/ELV solutions including PA systems, IPTV, broadcasting infrastructure, CCTV, and access control systems.

▸ Demonstrated experience in managing IT infrastructure in a large venue or hospitality environment.

▸ Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and protocols (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX).

▸ Experience in project management, specifically coordinating the installation, testing, and commissioning of technology systems.

✨ 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀:

▸ Experience working on major international sporting events (e.g., FIFA World Cup, Olympics).

▸ Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

▸ Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service desk management software.

▸ Proven ability to perform effectively under high-pressure conditions during live events.

▸ In-depth knowledge of stadium security protocols and their integration with technology systems.
