Veterinary Customer Service Representative/Receptionist

About the Role

  • As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a key role in shaping their experience. We’re looking for someone who:
  • Enjoys connecting with people; someone who takes genuine interest in clients, remembers faces and names, and helps them feel comfortable and welcome. Communicates clearly and kindly with clients and team members.

  • Helps maintain a positive and healthy clinic culture.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in clients and their pets.
  • Answer phones and respond to emails & texts.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.
  • Manage appointment flow and assist with client updates.
  • Maintain accurate client and patient records.
  • Process payments and reconcile end-of-day totals.
  • Assist with medication refills and product sales.
  • Support veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks.
  • Keep the reception area clean and organized.
  • Monitor client communication systems (calls, texts, emails, portals).
  • Handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Participate in team communication and daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Prior veterinary experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
  • Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
  • Comfort with technology and scheduling software.
  • A genuine love for animals and their humans alike.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
