West Alabama Animal Clinic is a small-animal veterinary clinic focused on preventative medicine and compassionate care. Proudly serving the community since 1988, our paw prints are all over the neighborhood!

We are seeking a Veterinary Medical Scribe to support our team of 8 doctors by accurately transcribing medical notes using structured, fill-in templates. This position works in a quiet office setting away from the hospital floor, allowing focused documentation and efficiency.

Position Details:

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Assist doctors with real-time medical documentation
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records
• Collaborate with doctors and staff for clarification as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology (required)
• Excellent typing and listening skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Veterinary experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
