Role Overview

The Veterinary Nurse will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to animals, working closely with veterinarians to perform a variety of clinical tasks and ensure the well-being of our furry patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
• Collect samples such as blood, urine, or tissue for analysis.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
• Prepare animals for surgery by sterilizing surgical instruments and ensuring a sterile environment.
• Monitor animals undergoing treatment and report any changes in condition.
• Provide guidance to pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Handle and care for animals with empathy and professional care.
  
  

Requirements For The Role

• Diploma or degree in Veterinary Nursing or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Veterinary Nurse.
• Proficiency in handling and restraining animals safely.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both animals and pet owners.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Compassion, empathy, and a genuine love for animals.
