Veterinary Receptionist

East Wind Animal Hospital is a privately owned, growing, progressive small animal practice dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care and compassionate service to our clients and their pets. We offer both general practice and urgent care services. As our hospital continues to expand, we are looking to add a part time Client Service Representative (CSR) to our team.

About the Role

Our CSRs are the first point of contact for our clients and play a vital role in ensuring an excellent experience from start to finish. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and pets, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients with professionalism and warmth
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, manage the urgent care queue, and manage client communications
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) in our fully digital system
• Process and handle client billing questions
• Support the team with client education and coordination of care
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

What We’re Looking For

• A part time CSR - 18–20 per week.
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with multi-tasking in a busy environment
• Proficiency with computers and phone systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy with records and scheduling
• Professionalism and reliability, even under pressure
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
• Compassion, empathy, and patience when working with pets and their families
• Adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced hospital environment
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm during stressful situations
• Experience in the veterinary field is helpful but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate

The schedule we are seeking to fill:

Total hours required: 18–20 per week.

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Every other Friday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Friday and Saturday shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis, ensuring every other Saturday off

Our Interview Process
