Veterinary Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for clients and their pets, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. In this fast-paced position, you will manage appointment scheduling, handle billing and collections, and facilitate communication between clients and veterinary staff. Your attention to detail and positive attitude will help ensure every client and pet feels valued and cared for from the moment they arrive. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly and check in pets efficiently to support smooth daily operations
  • Schedule appointments and follow-up visits using veterinary management software, maintaining an accurate and organized calendar
  • Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about services, procedures, and general pet care guidance
  • Process payments and manage billing and collections with accuracy and professionalism
  • Maintain and update patient records, verify client information, and handle general administrative tasks
  • Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff to ensure seamless service

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or pet care customer service role preferred
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology and basic pet care principles
  • Experience with Idexx Neo or similar veterinary software is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and remain professional and compassionate in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
