Veterinary Receptionist

Countryside Veterinary Hospital is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Receptionist/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. Responsibilities include answering phones promptly, scheduling appointments efficiently, greeting clients warmly, and handling check-outs with accuracy and professionalism. Strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to multitask are essential.

Our hospital is located in Toney, AL and provides a full range of veterinary services, as well as boarding and grooming. We are a busy practice that values teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Position details:

• Full-time schedule with 10-hour weekday shifts
• Rotating Saturday mornings (5–6 hours every other weekend)
• Flexibility to assist with additional hours as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a medical or veterinary setting is strongly preferred
• Veterinary receptionist experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to client care

Compensation:

• Starting at $15.00 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on experience.
