Veterinary Receptionist, Part-time

Paws & Co is looking to hire an outgoing, friendly individual to fill a part-time position with our reception team. Duties include, but not limited to, scheduling appointments, answering phones, checking clients in and out, weighing and rooming patients, charting in patient's electronic medical record, scanning, and balancing daily financial transactions. Currently it will be a guarantee of 25-30 hrs/wk + time off/vacation fill in's when needed, and opportunity for more hours as we grow and need arises. Our ideal candidate would be reliable to show up when scheduled, possess great communication skills, and attention to detail. We are a fast-paced clinic so multitasking and paying attention to detail is a must, along with working well with others and treating all our clients and patients with warmness and respect. Must be able to move around, handle patients when clients need help, etc so not your typical sit at the phones receptionist job... you will get your steps in each day. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Compensation starts at $14/hr with no experience and increases with veterinary clinic & receptionist experience.
