Job Summary
The Vice President will play a critical leadership role in driving organizational growth, operational excellence, and financial performance. The role requires a senior professional with proven experience in business development, construction, infrastructure projects, and/or financial institutions and banking, capable of leading complex projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting strategic decision-making at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Executive Leadership
- Support the /Managing Director in defining and executing corporate strategy.
- Lead strategic planning, growth initiatives, and organizational transformation.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and investment avenues.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Drive business development activities across construction, infrastructure, and financial services sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, government bodies, banks, and investors.
- Lead bid management, proposals, tenders, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Evaluate joint ventures, PPPs, and strategic alliances.
Construction & Infrastructure Oversight
- Provide executive oversight for construction and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure project delivery within scope, time, cost, quality, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, and external consultants.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Financial Management & Banking Relations
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, lenders, and rating agencies.
- Support fund raising, project financing, debt structuring, and working capital management.
- Monitor financial risks, cash flows, and profitability.
Operations & Risk Management
- Establish KPIs and performance dashboards across departments.
- Identify operational, financial, and project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, audit, and regulatory standards.
People Leadership & Governance
- Lead and mentor senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Drive performance culture, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Represent the organization in board meetings, industry forums, and high-level negotiations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in:
- Business Development
- Construction / Infrastructure Companies
- Financial Institutions or Banking Sector
- Strong experience in managing large projects, financial structures, and strategic initiatives.
