Vice President - Commercial & Supply Chain

Experience:

· Minimum age not less than 45 years.

· Should have a minimum of 15 years of experience at senior level in Purchases, Commercial operations, Supply Chains for domestic and imports.

· Should have good negotiation skills.

· Have the required leadership qualities and skills in making a significant contribution towards developing and improving current vendor pricing and performance, identifying new vendors, vendor evaluation and vendor on-boarding procedures, setting technical specs for raw materials and plant and equipment, civil items for construction.

· Should have adequate knowledge of various plant equipment, utilities, spares and packing material

Educational qualifications:

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in B.E. Chem / B. Tech Chem / B.E. Mech / B. Tech Mech from a reputed University with an MBA in purchasing / supply chain. Degrees must not be distant education degrees.

· Must be well versed with MS Office & related software.

Other qualifications and Responsibilities:

Must be proficient in written and spoken English and be able to speak and understand Hindi. Knowledge of other Indian languages will be an advantage.

Must be willing to independently travel to all parts of India and overseas if required for vendor audits.

Must be capable of identifying potential vendors in India and overseas, skilled negotiator, knowledge of vendor evaluation and vendor on-boarding procedures, setting technical specs for raw materials and plant and equipment, civil items for construction and handle and execute indents from the Plants, tendering process etc.

Must be able to negotiate and deal with brokers and MSME vendors for the Companies agri raw materials.

Must have effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks all with an attention to fine detail.

Must have a pleasing personality and willing to take responsibility and exercise authority and must be a team player.

Must be able to communicate, co-ordinate and liase internally with the Operational HOD’s, Factory Stores, Production, Engineering and Accounting Teams and with consultants.

Keep track of Raw material inventory, packing material and other chemicals and reactants required for production and monitor re-order and critical levels of inventory.
