VP of IT (Managed Services)
We’re partnering with a growing Managed Services Provider seeking a
VP of IT
to lead service delivery, technical strategy, and team development. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep MSP experience who can scale operations while maintaining high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor IT service delivery teams (engineering, support, infrastructure)

Oversee day-to-day managed services operations across multiple client environments

Drive service quality, SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives

Partner with leadership on IT strategy, growth, and service offerings

Standardize processes, tools, and best practices across the organization

Act as an escalation point for complex technical and client issues

Support client relationships, including QBRs and strategic planning
What We’re Looking For

10+ years in IT, wit
h strong MSP/managed services leadership experience
-
Proven ability to lead technical teams and scale service operations
-
Background in infrastructure, cloud (Azure preferred), networking, and security
-
Experience managing SLAs, KPIs, and client-facing service delivery
-
Strong communication skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders
Nice to Have

Experience growing or modernizing an MSP

Certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, or similar)

Exposure to tools like ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar PSA/RMM platforms
