Summary/Objective
Oversee the mortgage growth, management, workflow and promotion of first and second mortgages for sale to secondary markets and for the Credit Union loan portfolio. Responsible for the overall management of the quality and quantity of mortgage loan production and servicing; the training and supervision of employees; delegation of work and special projects; and personnel administration. Work closely with the Executive Team to develop a strategic plan for mortgage lending.

Maintain proficient knowledge of Regulatory, Agency, and Investor compliance and guidelines

Will periodically be required to travel to other Credit Union locations and branches, as well as agreed upon conferences and training.
Required education and experience
-
Previously led a growth-minded mortgage team, consisting of both production and operations.

Mortgage Banking classes, professional real estate licensing, secondary market training with investors and ongoing compliance training beneficial

Minimum of 10 years mortgage industry experience, with strong knowledge of underwriting, processing and regulatory compliance.

Preferably, a good understanding of loan pricing and profitability opportunities with the secondary market.

Associates degree or equivalent business experience
