As we continue to evolve and grow, we seek a visionary Vice President of Human

Resources to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead strategic HR initiatives that

directly contribute to our company’s goals and culture.

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Human Resources will be a strategic business partner to the

Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the President, responsible for driving all

facets of HR strategy and implementation including organization design, talent

development, recruitment, workforce planning, HR Technology, compensation and

benefits, and organizational culture.

This role demands a strong, communicative leader with deep expertise in HR strategy,

technology integration, and organizational development to propel TCM forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Senior Leadership Collaboration: Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to

align HR strategies with business objectives, improving sales performance

through enhanced talent management and initiatives.

  • People Development: Develop and implement consistent, effective talent

development strategy to include onboarding, leadership development,

management skills training, and employee continuous learning opportunities.

Recruitment Innovation: Attract top talent ready for today’s challenges and

tomorrow’s growth. Enhance recruitment strategies utilizing LinkedIn, AI-driven

tools, video interviewing, and other cutting-edge technologies.

  • HR Technology Leadership: Oversee the optimization of HRIS platforms

(currently Paycom), AI tools, and other HR technologies to streamline operations

and enhance data-driven decision-making.

  • Clear Communication: Ensure consistent and transparent communication

across all HR channels to reduce misunderstandings and improve employee

relations.

  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Implement employee engagement

initiatives including milestone celebrations, and programs that embody TCM’s

core values.

  • Performance Management: Ensure a clear and transparent performance review

process that increases the skills of people leaders to provide purposeful

feedback and development conversations to build a high-performance driven

culture. Develop training to equip managers with coaching skills and capabilities.

  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate closely with leadership to forecast workforce

needs aligned with company initiatives and growth plans.

  • Compensation & Benefits: Partner with Finance to develop competitive

compensation frameworks, manage benefits programs including healthcare,

401k, childcare benefits, and conduct benchmarking to maintain market

competitiveness.

  • Compliance & Administration: Manage all employee lifecycle processes

ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while maintaining

operational excellence.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or

related study or equivalent experience required. Master’s degree or MBA

preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of progressive HR leadership experience,

including at least 3 years in a senior management role with strategic business

responsibilities.

  • Industry Experience: Proven experience working for larger companies, or those

scaling up an HR department in a growth company with industry experience

relevant to TCM, e.g., educational publishing, and technology and media

preferred.

  • Outstanding emotional intelligence with the ability to understand and manage emotions, resolve conflicts and build strong relationships within the organization.
  • Business acumen with a deep understanding of business and financial goals and the ability to translate HR strategies into tangible business outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $215,000.00 - $265,000.00 per year
