VP of Manufacturing
The VP of Manufacturing will lead the launch, scale-up, and long-term operation of a new manufacturing facility. This role will oversee all aspects of factory setup and ongoing performance and requires a seasoned manufacturing leader with hands-on experience building new operations, directing large teams, and driving continuous improvement across complex production environments.
The VP of Manufacturing will have the following responsibilities:

Oversee the full setup and commissioning of a large-scale manufacturing facility.

Direct facility layout, equipment procurement, installation, and production validation.

Implement scalable processes, systems, and KPIs that support long-term operational success.

Lead daily production, engineering, quality, materials, warehousing, and maintenance functions.

Build, mentor, and develop a strong operational leadership team.

Drive continuous improvement to enhance throughput, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Manage utilities, infrastructure, site services, and maintenance programs.

Ensure compliance with zoning, environmental standards, permitting requirements, and all applicable regulations.

Partner with legal, environmental, and compliance teams to minimize operational risk.

Collaborate with HR on hiring, workforce planning, training, and development for a large and diverse manufacturing team.

Foster a culture built on accountability, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Develop and manage operating budgets and capital plans.

Lead long-term planning for capacity expansion, capital investments, and operational scaling.
The VP of Manufacturing should have the following qualifications:
Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Management, or a related field.

10-15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.

Proven greenfield experience, with success launching and operating large-scale manufacturing operations.

Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and build leadership pipelines.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Experience managing large budgets and capital projects.
Preferred

Master's degree in a related discipline.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
