The Vice President of Marketing provides oversight, leadership, and direction for all marketing services for a national portfolio of market rate and affordable multifamily assets. This role will oversee all marketing department KPIs and performance, and will ensure that all operations, marketing initiatives, and business functions meet performance targets, investor goals, and are conducted within the necessary regulatory, governmental, or fiscal requirements. This role will build and maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including Asset Management, Housing Authorities, and local operations teams and is highly strategic in nature.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Foundational Build-Out & Transformation
  • Architect and build TAM Residential’s fully integrated marketing infrastructure, including systems, processes, workflows, KPIs, reporting structures, and performance standards.
  • Create scalable marketing frameworks that can support a large national multifamily portfolio, replacing ad-hoc processes with standardized, data-driven systems.
  • Implement new marketing technology, including CRM optimization, AI tools, automation, workflow routing, and centralized reporting, establishing TAM as a modern, tech-enabled operator.
  • Develop and roll out a formal Marketing Operating System, including playbooks, SOPs, QA standards, and property-level execution guides.
  • Lead reputation management efforts including online reviews, reputation scoring, and social media engagement to protect and enhance brand value.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive reporting of marketing KPIs, including lead source attribution, cost per lead, visit and lease conversion ratios, and overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Own and manage TAM Residential’s corporate brand strategy and marketing efforts, including company website, corporate social media, PR, and executive/internal communications.
  • Ensure TAM Residential’s brand is consistently represented across all platforms, materials, and communications, internally and externally.
  • Oversee creation and maintenance of corporate marketing materials, including website content, presentations, press releases, investor materials, and recruiting collateral.
Strategic Vision & Next-Level Growth
  • Set the long-term marketing vision for TAM Residential and build a roadmap for taking the organization to a best-in-class multifamily marketing platform.
  • Identify and execute major strategic initiatives to reduce reliance on ILSs, improve conversion, enhance lead quality, and drive down cost per lease.
  • Create a unified brand platform for both corporate and property-level marketing, positioning TAM competitively across all major Texas and national markets.
Department Build-Out & Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team from the ground up, including structure, roles, expectations, and accountability systems.
  • Establish a culture of execution, innovation, and continuous improvement, shifting the department from reactive support to proactive leadership.
  • Redesign the cross-functional workflow between Marketing, Operations, and Asset Management for clearer accountability and faster execution.
  • Manage marketing department KPIs and performance.
  • Foster a working culture that is results-oriented, collegial, proactive, and entrepreneurial while emphasizing accountability and skills development.
  • Contribute to the New Hire Onboarding Experience by providing necessary assistance.
  • Drive innovation in marketing approaches and stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
Implementation & Operational Excellence
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of major initiatives (CRM rebuild, ILS overhaul, website optimization, call management, reputation strategy, content engine, etc.).
  • Introduce enterprise-level reporting for traffic, leads, conversion, marketing ROI, and digital performance, creating transparency across all assets.
  • Manage the Development of high-quality training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, videos, and recordings.
  • Oversee smooth and timely property transitions.
  • Manage the timely support of various projects within Entrata as needed.
  • Work closely with the other VP’s of Operations and Asset Management teams to ensure effective support delivery.
  • Design and implement internal processes and procedures in accordance with industry best practices with the goal of enhancing the operating performance of the company’s multifamily assets and personnel.
  • Own and drive performance marketing strategy, including digital lead generation, SEO, PPC, social media, and ILS channels to maximize traffic and conversion.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support company-wide initiatives, culture-building, and industry positioning through marketing channels.
Innovation & Competitive Differentiation
  • Evaluate emerging technologies (AI leasing assistants, automation, predictive analytics, dynamic pricing, etc.) and implement high-ROI tools.
  • Oversee and optimize the marketing technology stack (CRM, chatbots, AI tools, reputation management) and vendor performance to ensure seamless operations and measurable results.
  • Create a data-driven marketing culture, where decisions are based on analytics, not intuition.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience in multifamily, LIHTC and Market Multifamily preferred.
  • Experience Managing a group of 5-6 support group leaders.
  • Entrata Experience (not an expert but understands how to use the system).
  • Training experience (familiar with training programs or on site training).
  • Property Management support products (i.e MeetElise, Deposit Alternative programs, etc).
  • Marketing techniques and marketing strategies for multifamily properties.
  • Property Transitions and Takeovers.

BENEFITS:
  • Associates who are regularly scheduled for and work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for company-sponsored benefits the 1st day of the month, following completion of 30 continuous days of employment. Benefits offered include medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as 401K and life insurance. Regular, full-time associates are eligible to accrue paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.
