Inviting applications for the role of Vice President, Solution Architect, Aftersales - Supply Chain Management
In this role, you will be working with sales, account Management, business Partners, service Delivery, legal and finance, Genpact Aftersales LSA will apply strong domain knowledge & solution design experience, business expertise, and commercial acumen in Aftersales practice to develop solutions and commercialize across Genpact client base.
Responsibilities
  • The LSA must have a strong understanding of portfolio services offerings in Aftersales (aforementioned) across industries.
  • Should have worked as a LSA in Large deals (> $10MM commercial value). Must be capable of providing proof of value (POV’s) for proactive outreach and should be able to handle solutioning of large RFP’s (> $10MM commercial value) independently- with active participation in client conversations for requirements, development of solutions, establish commercial construct and participate in client orals
  • LSA should have “Make-Market” mindset and participate in GTM activities for Genpact’s client portfolio expansions, which pans across Aerospace & defense, Heavy equipment’s, Healthcare & life sciences, Greentech etc.
  • Must be able to bring in consultative led approach, should have technology/AI driven transformation approach while solutioning and should be able to bring in cross functional collaborative attitude across globe
  • The successful candidate will utilize his/her experience as a technical, business, data and process acumen supporting Aftersales organization goals, needs and objectives through operational and strategic oversight/solution development, especially for Genpact’ s Industrial manufacturing clients
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend approaches, new tools, technologies and architectures that are emerging and are relevant for driving digital transformation in aftermarket services business
  • In a bid scenario LSA will typically lead the solution from functional aspect along with engagement’s overall leader (Bid Pursuit Manager). The Lead Solution Architect is required to lead the development of the conceptual end to end solution architecture, typically occurring across mid-sized and large deals (>$10M or higher).

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills
  • Managing all senior client buyer and functional owner relationships for the designated solution in the areas of Aftersales function i.e.- across revenue producing field assets and service management Predictive maintenance, Spare parts management, Field services & remote support, Scheduling and dispatching)
  • Help Aftersales functional leader with capability build, internal and external solution campaigns, solution build, travel for onsite assessment (e.g., 6-8 weeks duration, typically 3-5 times in a year)
  • Driving the necessary sign-off of the solution with proper input from the organization on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget, and preferences.
  • LSA is required during the sales process and communication/ collaboration with service delivery teams.
  • Directing and coordinating with Legal & Commercial teams in areas specific to the solution to ensure use of standards.
  • Collaborating with the Operating Groups to seek input existing Aftersales client base, strategize to frame, and demonstrate the capabilities to clients.
  • Identifying leadership contacts for service transition and operations (e.g., Aftersales operations lead) and ensuring appropriate solution plan transition for closed deals.
  • Interfacing with the delivery organization/s (through SPOC’s when assigned) to ensure effective transition, shape services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions, determine appropriate service delivery locations and related cost to deliver.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Preparing the BD spend estimate, schedule, work plan etc.
  • Understand and clearly define the input required to create cost estimates, Preparing the cost model/business case estimates working with Service Delivery, Solution Management (if applicable) to deliver the defined scope of services
  • Only if needed (mostly not applicable) -Mentor and support team members and junior solution architects/SME’s
