ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Vice President, Strategic Accounts, to drive Airvet’s growth by securing and expanding relationships with large employers (50,000+ employees) and their broker/consultant partners. This role requires a seasoned enterprise sales leader with deep experience in the benefits ecosystem, consultative selling expertise, and a proven track record of building trust with both C-suite buyers and benefits consultants.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping Airvet’s go-to-market strategy, leading with insight into the evolving HR, benefits, and total rewards landscape, while evangelizing pet health as a high-impact, differentiating employee benefit.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Enterprise Sales & Growth
  • Own and drive new business opportunities with Fortune 500 and other large employers (50,000+ employees).

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, Benefits, and Total Rewards leaders.
  • Deliver consultative, solution-oriented sales presentations that clearly demonstrate ROI and employee value.

Broker & Consultant Partnerships
  • Cultivate trusted relationships with national and regional benefit broker/consultant firms.

  • Position Airvet as a thought partner and innovative solution within their client portfolios.
  • Drive joint strategies to open doors, influence RFP processes, and accelerate adoption.


Strategic Account Leadership
  • Manage executive-level relationships within key accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction and growth.

  • Partner with Customer Success to deliver smooth implementation and measurable value realization.
  • Develop account plans that align customer objectives with Airvet’s solutions.

Market & Industry Expertise
  • Act as a subject matter expert on employee benefits trends, pet health, and wellbeing programs.

  • Represent Airvet at industry conferences, broker events, and thought leadership forums.
  • Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.


WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A STRONG FIT FOR THE ROLE?


  • 12+ years of enterprise sales, strategic accounts, or business development experience in the benefits space.
  • Proven success selling into large employers (50,000+ employees) with long sales cycles and complex decision-making processes.
  • Strong existing relationships with broker/consultant firms (Mercer, Aon, WTW, Gallagher, Lockton, etc.).
  • Consultative, solution-selling background with ability to navigate executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
