Desert Rose Foundation is seeking a compassionate and dependable Weekend Victim Advocate to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, helping ensure their safety, comfort, and access to resources during vulnerable moments.

As Morgan County’s only domestic violence shelter, Desert Rose operates 24/7 to provide a safe, supportive, and healing environment. This position plays a vital role in maintaining that mission during weekend hours.

What You’ll Do:

• Answer and respond to the 24-hour crisis line with empathy and professionalism
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to victims of domestic violence
• Support residents with daily needs to promote a safe and stable environment
• Enforce shelter policies in a respectful and consistent manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared spaces

• Ability to remain calm and supportive in high-stress situations
• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be able to pass a background check
• No prior experience necessary — we provide all training!
