Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Public Administration, Human Services or related field. Three years of experience working with domestic violence and/or sexual assault survivors to include one year of supervisory experience in domestic violence setting are required. Must possess a Department of Children and Families (DCF) Core Competency and Privilege thirty (30) Hours Training Certificate within 45 days of employment (continued employment is contingent upon meeting this requirement). Must possess a valid State of Florida Driver license at all times and meet the Level 2 Employment Screening standards.

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and providing overall direction to either the emergency shelter services, outreach services, or transitional housing services of the Violence Prevention and Intervention Division. Incumbents are also responsible for the supervision of the following staff: Victim of Crime Act Supervisor 1, Victim of Crime Act Specialist 2, Victim of Crime Act Specialist 1, Victim of Crime Act Aide and Office Support Specialist. In addition, incumbents provide daily oversight of the programs to include client services, the development and achievement of program goals, the development and monitoring of the continuous quality improvement of the program to ensure compliance with the Council on Accreditation (COA) and grant funders, and interface with all aspects of the Criminal Justice System, social service agencies and the public.

Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
