Video Animator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Animator to join our team to help produce captivating video content for our YouTube channel. The ideal candidate will have strong animation skills, a keen eye for visual storytelling, and the ability to work collaboratively with the content team to translate concepts into dynamic visuals. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D or 3D animations for YouTube videos, including explainer videos, motion graphics, and visual effects. 
• Collaborate with writers, editors, creatives and other team members to conceptualize and storyboard video content. 
• Develop animated assets, characters, and environments in alignment with the channel’s style and branding. 
• Edit and refine animations based on feedback to ensure high-quality final videos. 
• Stay up-to-date on animation trends, tools, and techniques to keep content fresh and engaging. 
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in animation (2D, 3D, or motion graphics) with a strong portfolio or demo reel. 
• Proficiency in animation software such as After Effects. 
• Strong storytelling skills and an understanding of pacing, timing, and visual flow in video content. 
• Knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.). 
• Ability to take direction and feedback while maintaining a creative approach. 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• We are specifically looking for an animator skilled in clean, modern motion graphics, including: 
• Smooth transitions and kinetic text 
• Infographic-style animations 
• Simple character or icon-based animations 
• Visual explanations of financial, economic, or preparedness concepts 
• Polished 2D animations that enhance YouTube educational content 

Preferred:

• Experience creating content specifically for YouTube or social media platforms. 
• Ability to conceptualize ideas and propose creative solutions independently.
