Role Purpose
The Video Animator is responsible for creating engaging animated and video content that supports branding, marketing campaigns, and digital communication across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D animations, motion graphics, and short videos for digital platforms
- Animate logos, text, icons, and visual elements as per brand guidelines
- Edit videos for social media, websites, presentations, and internal communication
- Collaborate with designers, content writers, and marketing teams
- Interpret storyboards and briefs into compelling animated outputs
- Ensure consistency in motion style and visual identity
- Manage multiple animation projects and meet delivery timelines
Qualification & Experience
- Degree / Diploma in Animation, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in animation or motion graphics
- Strong portfolio of animation and video work
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in After Effects (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of Premiere Pro or similar video editing tools
- Basic understanding of Illustrator / Photoshop for asset preparation
- Knowledge of frame rates, resolutions, codecs, and export standards
Preferred / Value-Add Skills
- Experience with explainer videos or corporate branding videos
- Basic 3D animation knowledge (Cinema 4D / Blender – optional)
- Sound syncing and basic audio editing knowledge
