We are looking for a Video Content Producer (Performance Marketing) to join our marketing team. Content is a primary growth lever for our brand. We use video to Build authority and trust, Convert consultations, Educate at scale, and Generate paid ad creative.

Role Overview

This role will be responsible for:

  • Filming high-quality brand content weekly
  • Editing both short-form and long-form content
  • Capturing testimonials and transformation stories
  • Producing paid ad creative
  • Repurposing content across platforms
  • Bringing structure and systems to our content production

This is not a passive editing job. You will help shape ideas, identify hooks, and think strategically about performance.

What You’ll Be Creating

  • Short-form ads (Meta, YouTube, TikTok)
  • Doctor-led educational content
  • Transformation stories
  • Testimonial videos
  • Behind-the-scenes brand content
  • Long-form educational videos
  • Podcast-style video

Core Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Ideation

  • Collaborate with leadership on weekly content themes
  • Proactively suggest topics based on trends and audience behavior
  • Identify strong hooks and angles for short-form content
  • Think in terms of audience psychology and conversion

Pre-Production & Planning

  • Build filming schedules and batching plans
  • Create run-of-show documents
  • Prepare teleprompter scripts
  • Organize efficient content capture days
  • Plan how long-form footage will convert into multiple short clips

On-Site Production

  • Set up professional lighting and audio
  • Manage camera framing and composition
  • Direct non-professional talent comfortably on camera
  • Capture clean testimonial footage
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Keep filming days organized and efficient

Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit long-form educational videos
  • Create high-performing short-form clips
  • Add captions, motion graphics, and branding elements
  • Identify strong hooks
  • Optimize pacing for retention
  • Organize and maintain media library

Content Systems & Execution

  • Maintain a consistent publishing cadence
  • Build repeatable workflows
  • Coordinate with marketing for distribution
  • Track basic performance trends
  • Improve content systems over time

You do not need to own paid ads strategy but you must understand that creative performance matters.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of videography and editing experience
  • Strong lighting and audio fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve
  • Experience creating short-form vertical content
  • Strong storytelling instincts
  • High organizational skills
  • Self-starter with ownership mindset
  • Comfortable working in a medical/health setting
  • Must be local to Asheville, NC or willing to commute regularly

Bonus Points

  • Experience creating paid ad creative
  • Motion graphics capability
  • Testimonial-style filming experience
  • Basic understanding of performance marketing
  • Photography skills

Success Looks Like

Within 90 Days:

  • Weekly filming rhythm established
  • 15–25 short-form pieces per month
  • Testimonial library built
  • Ad creative rotation consistently refreshed
  • Clear improvement in content output and consistency

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $50,000 – $65,000 annually. Compensation is based on demonstrated skills, production ability, and relevant experience.

This role is designed as a growth opportunity within a scaling company. We are looking for someone who wants to develop both their creative and marketing skill set and grow into greater ownership over time.
