Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our media production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying sound and visual effects, and creating compelling video content that aligns with our brand, storytelling goals, and audience expectations. You will collaborate closely with producers, directors, and content creators to bring concepts to life across a variety of formats, including commercials, social media, digital content, documentaries, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final products using professional editing software.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and scriptwriters to understand the vision and narrative intent.
• Add music, dialogue, graphics, effects, and sound to enhance the storytelling.
• Ensure continuity, visual flow, and technical quality in final deliverables.
• Maintain project organization, file naming, and backups throughout the post-production workflow.
• Color correct and grade footage to match visual style and tone.
• Format and export videos for various platforms (broadcast, web, social media, etc.).
• Stay up to date with new editing techniques, trends, and industry tools.
• Work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor in a media production or related environment.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual aesthetics.
• Experience with motion graphics and basic animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
• Knowledge of sound design, audio editing, and syncing.
• Ability to take creative direction and also work independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating a range of editing styles and projects.
• Experience with multi-camera editing, live event footage, or documentary storytelling.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Erode, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
