Job Description: Video Editor (Sports Industry)

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor with 2 years of experience to join our team. If you are passionate about sports and have a keen eye for detail, this role is perfect for you! You will play a crucial role in crafting engaging video content that captures the excitement and energy of the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for social media, websites, advertisements, and events.
• Collaborate with the content, marketing, and production teams to create high-quality sports-related video projects.
• Utilize video editing software to add effects, transitions, music, and graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
• Stay up-to-date with sports trends and integrate relevant themes into video content.
• Maintain video editing workflows, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Manage and organize a library of digital assets, including footage, audio, and graphics.
• Optimize video content for different platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance.
• Work on live events and highlights, capturing key moments and delivering timely edits.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in the sports industry or a related field.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
• Strong understanding of sports culture and the ability to tell compelling sports-related stories.
• Experience with motion graphics, color grading, and sound design is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio showcasing your video editing work, especially projects related to sports, is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with social media video trends and platform-specific formats.
• Experience with live sports event editing and post-production.
• Knowledge of videography and camera equipment is a plus.
