Job Title: Part-Time Video Editor (In-Person)

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented video editor to join our team part-time. You’ll be responsible for editing short and long-form videos that communicate our message clearly, maintain high quality, and align with our brand tone.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through video, has strong language intuition (good English is key), and can take raw footage to polished, ready-to-publish content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality videos using Descript (experience required).
• Cut, trim, and enhance video and audio for clarity, flow, and engagement.
• Add captions, titles, transitions, and graphics that align with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the creative and communications teams to deliver consistent output.
• Ensure final edits are optimized for multiple platforms (social media, website, internal use).
• Manage feedback and revisions efficiently while meeting monthly deliverables.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment.
• Strong command of Descript (mandatory).
• Excellent sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual communication.
• Good spoken and written English, reflected naturally in video subtitles and messaging.
• Basic understanding of motion graphics and sound design is a plus.
• Ability to work in-person with the Islamabad team.
• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable with feedback cycles.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs75,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 5 – 6 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Islamabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Video Editing: 2 years (Preferred)
