Video Editor

Status: Full-Time

Work Location: On-site – El Monte, CA

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift (Day shift)

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of professional experience in video editing, post-production, or content creation, preferably in a digital advertising, content studio, or DTC brand environment.

Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)

Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling through editing

Familiar with platform-specific video standards (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube)

Position Summary

This role is focused purely on video editing—you will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished, engaging videos that meet brand and campaign needs. Projects may include advertising videos, social media content, short-form videos, and event recap edits.

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for multiple formats (e.g., 16:9, 9:16, 1:1)

Cut and arrange footage for advertisements, social content, event highlight reels, and branded short videos

Add music, subtitles, motion transitions, graphics, and visual effects as needed

Ensure final outputs are polished, on-brand, and ready for delivery across platforms

Collaborate with creative directors and producers to ensure edits match creative vision

Manage project files and version control in an organized manner

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of video editing or post-production experience (Required)

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects and motion graphics a plus)

Portfolio or reel demonstrating strong editing and storytelling in short-form, social-first content

Familiarity with performance-driven ad content and digital marketing best practices

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects

Experience working in fast-paced production pipelines

Strong communication and collaboration skills
