About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, visual aesthetics, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging and high-quality video content that aligns with brand goals and social media trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for social media, ads, reels, and brand campaigns.
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and effects to enhance storytelling.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project briefs and objectives.
- Maintain brand consistency and visual style across all video outputs.
- Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
- Stay updated with the latest editing styles, tools, and social media video trends.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor (preferably in a digital agency or media environment).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Good sense of music, pacing, and timing in video storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of color grading and sound editing.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to take feedback constructively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field.
- Experience in shooting or cinematography will be a plus.
- Understanding of social media trends, meme culture, and short-form video platforms like Reels and TikTok.
