About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic EdTech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality educational videos that enhance learning outcomes and deliver an engaging experience for students. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with academic and creative teams.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Production

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content tailored for educational platforms.
• Work on concept-based videos, explainer videos, lectures, promotional content, and social media clips.
• Apply colour correction, colour grading, and create colour node structures for consistent visual quality.
• Add motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, transitions, and sound effects as required.
• Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and project deadlines.

Technical Expertise

• Use industry-standard editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Optimize videos for various formats and platforms, including LMS, YouTube, and social media channels.
• Maintain an organized workflow, project files, and backups.

Collaboration & Planning

• Work closely with content creators, subject experts, and the marketing team to interpret briefs and deliver high-quality output.
• Participate in storyboarding, shot planning, and creative discussions.
• Provide creative input on visual style, pacing, and storytelling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Editing, Multimedia, Communication, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, especially in the EdTech or digital content sector.
• Strong proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and colour grading tools.
• Solid understanding of colour nodes, timelines, sound design, codecs, and export formats.
• Creative mindset with excellent visual storytelling skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
