About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced Video Editor to join our in-house marketing team. This role is perfect for a young, enthusiastic individual who lives and breathes social media content and understands how to drive engagement and sales through short-form video. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in CapCut and skilled in producing polished, high-impact content for e-commerce, product showcases, and various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Production: Execute end-to-end video editing, including selecting footage, sequencing, pacing, color correction, and sound design for all marketing channels.
- CapCut Mastery: Utilize CapCut as the primary editing platform to rapidly produce, edit, and optimize content for vertical formats (Reels, Shorts, TikTok).
- Social Media Optimization: Adapt video content specifically for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Amazon, ensuring adherence to platform specifications and best practices.
- Product Content: Create engaging product demonstration videos, unboxing videos, and short advertisements that clearly showcase product features and brand aesthetic.
- Motion Graphics: Design and integrate basic motion graphics, lower thirds, and text overlays to enhance visual storytelling and engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing and Design teams to align video output with brand voice and campaign goals.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain a clean library of video footage, audio, and final project files.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience (1-3 years preferred) in professional video editing, particularly for e-commerce or digital brands.
- Platform Proficiency: Experience with other tools like Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
- Content Knowledge: Strong understanding of current social media trends, viral video formats, and platform-specific content optimization .
- Creative Storytelling: Demonstrated ability to condense long-form content into compelling, short-form narratives.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent command of timing, music syncing, and visual continuity.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating product showcases and social media video work is required.
- Communication: Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate quickly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,637.80 - ₹36,076.36 per month
