Role Overview

We are seeking a well-experienced Video Editor with strong creative vision and technical expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing high-quality video content across multiple formats and platforms. Beyond editing, this role demands proficiency in new-age tools, AI-assisted workflows, and emerging technologies to ensure our video content remains innovative, engaging, and competitive in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos for marketing, training, product launches, and events.
  • Apply advanced transitions, motion graphics, animations, and effects to enhance storytelling.
  • Perform color correction, audio balancing, and sound design with precision.
  • Create both short-form content (ads, reels, teasers) and long-form content (tutorials, interviews, corporate films).

Creative Collaboration

  • Work closely with creative, marketing, and design teams to conceptualize video ideas.
  • Develop storyboards, shot lists, and visual treatments for projects.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for campaigns, ensuring videos align with brand identity.

Platform & Audience Optimization

  • Adapt videos for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, website, internal communications).
  • Ensure videos meet platform-specific requirements (aspect ratios, duration, resolution).
  • Optimize videos for SEO, audience engagement, and analytics-driven improvements.

Project & Workflow Management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain organized file structures, archives, and version control.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and quality standards.

Innovation & Emerging Tools

  • Stay updated with latest editing tools, plugins, and AI-powered software (e.g., Adobe Sensei, Runway, Descript).
  • Experiment with new workflows such as cloud-based collaboration, automated editing, and motion capture.
  • Recommend and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and creativity.

Additional Contributions

  • Support live event coverage by editing highlight reels and recap videos.
  • Create training and onboarding videos for internal teams.
  • Collaborate with photographers, designers, and copywriters for integrated campaigns.
  • Assist in developing reusable video templates and brand assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Well-experienced in professional video editing with a strong portfolio of diverse projects.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve.
  • Hands-on experience with new tools and AI-assisted editing platforms.
  • Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate, marketing, or social media video production.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Exposure to cloud collaboration tools and AI-driven video enhancement.
  • Understanding of video analytics and performance metrics.
