Job Overview
Scaleup Connect is hiring a Video Editor on behalf of its client to support their marketing and media team. This role focuses on creating high-quality promotional and social media videos that align with brand guidelines and marketing goals.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, understands pacing and storytelling, and can turn raw footage into engaging visual content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished marketing and promotional videos
- Perform color correction, trimming, transitions, sound syncing, and enhancements
- Apply basic motion graphics, text animations, and visual effects when required
- Collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to meet campaign objectives
- Optimize video formats, resolutions, and durations for social media and digital platforms
- Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining high-quality visual standards
- Organize project files and maintain editing workflows
- Incorporate feedback efficiently and make revisions within deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma, Intermediate, or relevant certification in Media, Film, or Video Production
- 1–2 years of hands-on video editing experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro
- Understanding of before & after effects, transitions, and visual enhancements
- Strong sense of timing, composition, and visual storytelling
- High attention to detail with a creative mindset
- Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
