Video Editor

Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team at Catalyst, Kozhikode. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing techniques and be capable of creating engaging visual content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality videos
• Add graphics, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and background music as required
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to understand content requirements
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives
• Optimize video content for social media, websites, and other digital platforms
• Maintain organized project files and meet assigned deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual storytelling
• Understanding of video formats, frame rates, and export settings
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good communication and coordination skills

Experience:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Freshers with strong editing skills and a portfolio may also apply

Education:

• Any graduate or diploma in Media, Animation, Visual Communication, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
