About the Role

We’re looking for a Short-Form Video Editor who understands how to stop the scroll.

This role is all about editing high-performing Reels, TikToks, and Shorts — fast-paced, trend-aware, platform-native content that feels organic, not overproduced. You’ll work closely with our social media and creator teams to turn raw footage, UGC, and influencer content into engaging videos that drive reach, engagement, and growth.

What You’ll Do: Editing & Execution

  • Edit short-form videos (7–60 seconds) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
  • Add captions, on-screen text, emojis, sound effects, and transitions that feel native to each platform
  • Ensure strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds
  • Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form cuts

Trend & Platform Awareness

  • Stay updated with editing trends, formats, and transitions on Instagram & TikTok
  • Adapt trending audio and formats to fit the brand’s tone
  • Understand pacing, jump cuts, and storytelling for social

Brand & Quality

  • Maintain consistent brand look, fonts, colours, and tone
  • Collaborate with designers and social media team for cohesive output
  • Balance speed with quality — fast turnaround without sloppy edits

Workflow & Delivery

  • Organise files, versions, and exports efficiently
  • Deliver multiple variations when needed (hooks, captions, CTAs)
  • Meet daily/weekly content deadlines

Who You Are

  • Social-media-first editor — not a traditional film editor
  • Understands what makes content perform on Reels & TikTok
  • Detail-oriented but fast
  • Comfortable working with raw phone footage and UGC
  • Can take feedback well and iterate quickly

Must-Have Skills

  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro / Final Cut / CapCut (desktop)
  • Strong understanding of short-form pacing and captions
  • Experience editing Reels, TikToks, or Shorts (portfolio required)
  • Ability to match brand tone and visual identity

Nice to Have

  • After Effects or motion graphics basics
  • Experience editing for D2C, lifestyle, food, or FMCG brands
  • Understanding of UGC & influencer content workflows

Job Type: Full-time
