Role Overview

We're looking for a creative and trend-savvy Video Editor who can hit the ground running, deliver consistent daily output, and bring fresh ideas to the table — not just execute briefs.

What You'll Do

• Edit 3–4 videos per day including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, trending content, and brand promotional videos
• Stay ahead of viral trends, audio trends, and platform-specific visual styles
• Actively pitch new creative ideas — we want contributors, not just executors
• Use AI tools (Runway, Google Veo, Kling, Pika, CapCut AI, etc.) to generate and enhance video content
• Collaborate with RankChan's content and strategy team to align videos with client brand goals
• Deliver platform-optimized exports for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and more

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on skills in Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools
• Experience using AI video generation tools to create or enhance content
• Sharp sense of pacing, hooks, transitions, and visual storytelling
• Ability to manage fast daily turnarounds independently without compromising quality
• A portfolio showing variety — brand reels, trend edits, promotional videos
• Understanding of what performs on Instagram and YouTube in 2025–26

Bonus Points

• Prior experience working with a digital marketing agency or D2C brand
• Knowledge of motion graphics or basic animation
• Familiarity with SEO-driven content or performance marketing creatives
• Active on social media with an eye for what's trending
