Role Overview:-

JustBaat, a dynamic podcast venture by JHS Media Group, is looking for a creative and trend-savvy Reels & YouTube Shorts Editor who can turn long-form podcast conversations into highly engaging short-form content.

The ideal candidate must understand how to create strong hooks, build retention, and follow reel trends to maximize reach and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:-

-Edit engaging Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts from long podcast episodes

-Create powerful hooks within the first 3–5 seconds to grab attention

-Identify viral-worthy moments from conversations

-Add captions, subtitles, zoom cuts, transitions & dynamic elements

-Stay updated with latest reel trends, editing styles & algorithm changes

-Optimize content format according to platform requirements

-Coordinate closely with hosts, content team & marketing team

-Ensure timely delivery of edits as per content calendar

Required Skills & Qualifications:-

-Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects (CapCut experience is a -plus)

-Experience editing interviews, talk shows, podcasts, reels, and shorts (Portfolio mandatory)

-Strong understanding of short-form content structure & hook-based editing

-Knowledge of audio clean-up, syncing, and level balancing

-Ability to extract viral-worthy moments from long conversations

-Strong attention to detail, timing, pacing, and storytelling

Good sense of humor and visual aesthetics preferred
