A Video Editor in a student visa consultancy creates engaging and informative video content to help students understand study abroad opportunities, visa processes, and university life. The role focuses on producing content for marketing, social media, and educational purposes.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit promotional videos about study destinations (e.g., UK, Canada, Australia)
• Create content explaining visa processes, requirements, and timelines
• Produce student testimonial videos and success stories
• Edit short-form videos for social media (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Add subtitles, graphics, and branding elements (logos, colors, contact info)
• Incorporate background music, voiceovers, and motion graphics
• Ensure videos are clear, professional, and easy to understand
• Collaborate with counselors and marketing team for content ideas
• Stay updated with social media trends and video styles
• Manage and organize video files and assets

Requirements: Education & Experience

• Intermediate, Bachelor’s degree, or currently studying (students can apply)
• Experience in video editing (freelance, internship, or academic projects)
• Portfolio or sample work (important)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in video editing software such as:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• CapCut
• DaVinci Resolve
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics using Adobe After Effects (preferred)
• Ability to add subtitles, transitions, and visual effects
• Understanding of video formats for social media platforms

Creative Skills

• Ability to simplify complex visa information into engaging visuals
• Strong storytelling and editing sense
• Good sense of timing, pacing, and transitions
• Creativity in making educational content interesting

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills (especially in English/Urdu)
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects
• Team collaboration with counselors and marketing staff
• Attention to detail and accuracy (important for visa-related info)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on education or immigration-related content
• Knowledge of study abroad processes
• Familiarity with platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok

Job Type: Full-time
