Job Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage to produce engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with project goals and brand guidelines.
- Develop and implement storyboards to effectively communicate ideas and project narratives before editing begins.
- Apply motion graphics and visual effects to enhance storytelling and maintain viewer interest throughout videos.
- Perform detailed color grading and correction to achieve consistent and appealing video visuals.
- Edit and mix audio tracks to ensure clarity, balance, and synchronization with video sequences.
- Use industry-standard software tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, and Pro Tools to manipulate video, images, and sound.
- Compress and export video files in appropriate formats and resolutions suitable for various platforms and presentation requirements.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand content goals and incorporate feedback to improve video quality continuously.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while adhering to established timelines and deadlines.
- Maintain organized project files and archives to support efficient retrieval and future edits.
- Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques, software, and industry trends to enhance personal skillset and project outcomes.
- Ensure all video content complies with copyright laws, licensing agreements, and organizational standards.
- Review and troubleshoot technical issues related to video and audio quality during production and post-production phases.
- Optimize video elements to enhance visual impact without compromising file size or playback performance.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating editing skills and creative storytelling.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition and continuity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to incorporate feedback effectively.
- Creative mindset with the ability to transform concepts into engaging visual content.
- Basic knowledge of lighting, camera handling, and videography is a plus.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends is an advantage.
