The Role

We're looking for a mid-level Video Editor & Content Creator who can independently own the full video/reel production cycle - from concept to final cut - using both traditional editing tools and AI-powered creation workflows. This isn't a "just cut what I give you" role; we want someone who brings ideas, visual storytelling, and creative direction to the table.

What You'll Do

• Plan, shoot (where needed), and edit day-to-day video content: reels, shorts, product explainers, event recaps, testimonials, and social-first content
• Use AI tools (e.g., Runway, Pika, ElevenLabs, Sora-type tools, AI avatars, auto-captioning/subtitling tools) alongside traditional editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, etc.) to speed up and enhance production
• Design motion graphics, lower-thirds, transitions, and on-brand visual templates
• Translate raw ideas/briefs from marketing, sales, and leadership into scroll-stopping content for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and internal use
• Maintain and evolve Veevo Tech's visual identity across all video content
• Keep a pulse on trends (reel formats, sounds, edit styles) and proactively suggest fresh content ideas — not just wait for briefs
• Manage multiple projects/turnarounds in a fast-paced startup environment
• Collaborate closely with the marketing/digital team on campaigns, product launches, and event coverage
• Organize and maintain a content library/asset bank for reuse

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of hands-on video editing/content creation experience (agency, in-house, or freelance with a strong portfolio)
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects skills a big plus
• Comfortable experimenting with AI video/audio/image generation tools and integrating them into real workflows
• A genuine creative eye - composition, pacing, color, sound design, storytelling instinct
• Understanding of platform-specific content (what works on Reels vs LinkedIn vs YouTube Shorts)
• Basic shooting skills (phone or camera) is a plus, not mandatory
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and hit deadlines without heavy hand-holding
• A portfolio or reel is required to apply

Bonus Points

• Experience creating content for a tech/SaaS brand
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Scriptwriting or storyboarding experience
• Prior experience growing a brand's social presence organically

This is a full-time permanent contract-bound office-based Job & the starting salary would be 45K-75K as per professional experiences + other allowances based, the location of the job is at VT ISB Office - G13 Service Road, Opp Metro Bus Station, Islamabad.
