Video Editor - Brand, Corporate & YouTube Content

Monolith is a video production company based in Cleveland, OH. We produce brand content, YouTube series, instructional video, and corporate content across a range of industries including healthcare and education.

We're looking for a freelance editor to join our project rotation.

The work:

Projects fall across a real spectrum. On one end - brand and YouTube episodic content that requires storytelling instincts, a feel for pacing, and an understanding of how the platform works. On the other - instructional and corporate video for clients in industries like healthcare and higher education. Structured, professional, and not particularly glamorous. Both ends of that spectrum are a consistent part of what we do, and we need an editor who can show up for all of it.

What we're looking for:

• Experience editing brand and YouTube series/episodic content
• Strong sense of narrative structure and pacing
• Familiarity with YouTube as a medium - retention, hooks, audience psychology
• Comfortable with instructional and corporate formats - this is not a small part of the job
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Organized, reliable, and able to work from a brief independently

The setup:

1099 freelance on an ongoing basis. We bring back editors we trust.

Pay: $29.98 - $55.11 per hour
