The Powerly Agency is a premium social media management and branding agency based in Greenville's West End. We work with a curated roster of clients across hospitality, design, real estate, professional services, and lifestyle brands, and we're known for elevated, editorial-quality content that doesn't look like everyone else's.

We're hiring a full-time Video Editor to join our team in-office. This person will own the editing pipeline for short-form social content across our client roster, working directly with raw footage shot by our team and turning it into scroll-stopping, on-brand video.

What you'll do

Edit a high volume of short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, and Shorts across multiple client brands, including:

• Trend-based edits with timely audio, transitions, and pacing
• Talking head content with clean cuts, captions, and B-roll layering
• Product and lifestyle reels with motion graphics and text overlays
• Behind-the-scenes, event recap, and storytelling formats
• Long-form content repurposed into short-form cutdowns

Collaborate directly with our content team, strategists, and account managers in-office to align edits with each client's brand voice and content strategy. Manage raw footage, project files, and final exports in our shared systems. Stay current on platform trends, editing styles, and emerging formats, and bring ideas to the table.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of video editing experience, ideally with social-first or agency work
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut; After Effects a plus
• A sharp eye for pacing, sound design, typography, and visual storytelling
• Comfort working with a high volume of client work and tight turnarounds
• A portfolio that demonstrates range across content styles (required for application)
• Ability to work from our Greenville office full-time

Compensation & Benefits

$40,000–$42,000 annually, plus growth opportunities within a fast-scaling agency.
