Video Editor (Long-Form Content & Social Media)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor who can handle long-form content and turn raw footage into polished, engaging videos.

This includes YouTube videos, documentaries, podcasts, interviews, and in-depth content that requires strong storytelling, pacing, and structure.

You should be comfortable working with longer timelines, organizing footage, and maintaining viewer retention throughout the video.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form videos (10–60 minutes) for YouTube and other platforms
• Structure content for better storytelling and audience retention
• Cut, trim, and organize raw footage efficiently
• Add transitions, music, sound design, and basic motion graphics
• Enhance pacing to keep viewers engaged throughout
• Repurpose long videos into short clips (optional but preferred)

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in long-form video editing
• Strong portfolio (YouTube, podcasts, interviews, documentaries)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or similar
• Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and retention techniques
• Ability to handle large projects and meet deadlines

Nice to Have (Bonus)

• Experience with YouTube content optimization
• Motion graphics / animation skills
• Color grading and sound design experience
• Experience creating both long + short-form content

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per hour
