Video Editor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to create high-quality video content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience editing YouTube videos, social media content, and a basic understanding of SEO, along with exposure to research-based content or projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into professional video content for YouTube and social media platforms
• Add transitions, graphics, subtitles, and sound effects where required
• Optimize video content for YouTube, including titles, descriptions, and thumbnails (basic SEO)
• Conduct or support content research to improve video quality and relevance
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand project goals
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards
• Maintain consistency in branding and visual style
• Organize and manage video files and assets

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing or a related role
• Experience editing YouTube videos and social media content (Reels, TikTok, etc.)
• Basic understanding of YouTube SEO and video optimization
• Experience working on or contributing to research-based projects in a previous role
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with motion graphics or animation
• Understanding of social media trends and audience engagement
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant work
