We’re hiring a Senior Video Editor / Motion Designer (4–5 years’ experience) to accelerate post-production velocity across explainers, product demos, social cut-downs, promos video, brand films, and templated promos. You’ll collaborate closely with the Global Video Content Manager, take direction with minimal hand-holding, and deliver fast, on-brand outputs for YouTube, Shorts/Reels, Social Media, display, OTT, in-product, events, and Reddit.
Key Responsibilities
  • Edit and animate multi-format content (16:9, 1:1, 9:16, 4:5) with strong hooks, pacing, and kinetic type.
  • Translate direction/scripts/(optional) storyboards into cohesive narratives; propose smart cutdowns.
  • Build/maintain reusable motion systems: openers, supers, end slates, captioning templates.
  • Audio: music sourcing, VO cleanup/direction, SFX; meet platform loudness and QC standards.
  • Versioning & localization: aspect ratios, subtitles, light copy tweaks for markets.
  • Maintain file hygiene (naming, proxies, versioning), archive, and Jira/Confluence updates; collaborate in Figma.
  • Partner with Brand Leads / task requestors for timely reviews and sign-off.
  • Explore ethical Gen-AI accelerators (e.g., Veo3, ElevenLabs, Artlist text-to-video/image) where appropriate.
Decision Rights
  • Direction/Script/Storyboard: Provided by Gloval Video Content Manager.
  • Sign-off: Global Video Content Manager and/or Brand Lead/Requestor.
  • Ownership: Day-to-day edit/motion craft, templates, and export quality.
Must-Have Skills & Tools
  • 4–5 years professional experience in editing + motion design, multi-channel delivery.
  • Adobe After Effects & Premiere, plus Illustrator/Photoshop.
  • Proven craft in hooks/pacing, kinetic typography, brand-consistent motion language.
  • Audio basics (VO cleanup, SFX, music editing) and platform loudness norms.
  • Workflow discipline: captions/accessibility, safe areas, QC checklists, file hygiene.
  • Comfort with Jira/Confluence, Figma collaboration, and asset libraries (Envato or similar).
Nice-to-Haves
  • DaVinci Resolve (grading), Audition, Frame.io; Blender/C4D basics.
  • Performance-creative experience (thumbnails, first-3-seconds concepting).
  • Hands-on with Gen-AI tools (ElevenLabs, Artlist text-to-image/video).
