Video Editor (Part-Time / Project Based)

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor to join our team on a part-time or project basis. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling ability, technical editing skills, and experience using modern AI-assisted editing tools to produce engaging digital content for social media and marketing campaigns.

You will be responsible for editing high-quality videos for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, including marketing videos, promotional content, reels, and short-form ads.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and client projects
• Create engaging short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• Work with raw footage, motion graphics, sound design, and transitions
• Enhance videos using AI-powered editing tools and automation workflows
• Add subtitles, captions, graphics, and animations where required
• Optimize videos for different platforms and aspect ratios
• Collaborate with the marketing team on creative concepts and storytelling
• Deliver projects within agreed timelines and quality standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Video Editor
• Strong portfolio of previous work (required)
• Proficiency in:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• CapCut
• Adobe After Effects (preferred)
• Experience with AI video tools such as:
• Runway ML
• Descript
• Pictory
• Adobe Firefly
• Topaz Video AI
• ChatGPT / AI-assisted workflows
• Strong understanding of:
• video storytelling
• pacing and transitions
• color correction and audio balancing
• social media video formats

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing marketing or social media content
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animations
• Experience creating viral or engaging short-form videos
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
