Position Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Production Executive to join our Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and delivering high-quality videos for marketing campaigns, social media, training programs, and events. The role requires strong visual storytelling skills, a good understanding of branding, and hands-on experience with video production equipment.
- Key Responsibilities: Video Production & Shooting: Plan and execute video shoots for college events, interviews, testimonials, social media content, and corporate campaigns.
- Handle camera setup, lighting, audio, and framing during shoots.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Content, Design, Marketing, Events) to ensure smooth shoot execution.
- Capture behind-the-scenes and event coverage footage as per project requirements.
- Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit raw footage into compelling and engaging video content.
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, music, sound effects, and transitions.
- Maintain consistency in brand tone, fonts, color grading, and visual identity.
- Prepare video versions optimized for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Ensure timely delivery of final videos based on campaign schedules.
- Creative Concept & Direction: Brainstorm and contribute creative video concepts aligned with campaigns and event themes.
- Work closely with the content and design teams to convert ideas into visual stories.
- Assist in developing video storyboards and shoot scripts.
- Asset Management & Documentation: Organize and maintain video archives, footage, and raw files.
- Manage equipment inventory and ensure all gear is maintained and available for shoots.
- Maintain a content calendar and video production tracker.
- Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Communication, or a related field.
- 0–1 years of experience in video editing and production (agency or in-house).
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong sense of timing, visual composition, and storytelling.
- Knowledge of video formats, resolutions, and social media specifications.
- Familiarity with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude are must-haves.
- Preferred (Good to Have): Experience with drone shooting or event coverage.
- Knowledge of color grading and motion graphics.
- Understanding of social media trends and reels/short-form video styles.
- Basic photography and photo-editing skills.
- Work Environment:On-site role (field visits for college and corporate event coverage).
- Flexible working hours during event shoots.
